Deck Crane Load Test – Successfully Completed at Port of Fujairah, UAE
Ensure safe and compliant lifting operations with professional Deck Crane Load Testing, Proof Load Testing, Inspection, and Certification by Al Safwan Marine.
We successfully completed the load testing and certification of two deck cranes onboard a vessel at Port of Fujairah, UAE, ensuring safe and reliable lifting operations.
The cranes, located on the Starboard Side – Forward and Aft, were tested under both operating modes:
- Grab Mode – SWL: 30 Tonnes | Proof Load: 35 Tonnes
- General Hook Mode – SWL: 32.5 Tonnes | Proof Load: 37.5 Tonnes
Before testing, our engineers carried out a comprehensive inspection, including:
- Visual structural assessment
- Operational functionality checks
- Wire rope inspection (luffing, closing, and holding ropes)
Following successful inspections, both deck cranes demonstrated stable performance under the required proof loads and successfully met the applicable lifting equipment standards and safety requirements.
