Provisions Crane Luffing & Knuckle Cylinder Overhaul – Hamriyah Port

A technically demanding hydraulic assignment was successfully executed at Hamriyah Port, involving the Provisions Crane – Luffing Cylinder & Knuckle Cylinder Overhauling and Testing, aimed at restoring precise load handling and hydraulic reliability.

The scope included System Isolation, Hydraulic Depressurization, and controlled Cylinder Removal using certified lifting arrangements to maintain structural integrity and safe handling.

Both cylinders underwent complete Dismantling & Internal Inspection, followed by Seal Replacement, piston rod change, surface polishing where required, and precise Cylinder Reassembly.

Post-overhaul Hydraulic Pressure Testing and Functional Testing confirmed leak-free performance, smooth stroke motion, and stable response under operating conditions.

Following Reinstallation & Commissioning, the provisions crane was returned to service with restored hydraulic efficiency and safe operational performance.
