Yacht Deck Crane Direction Control Valve Overhaul – Yas Island
The deck crane direction control valve on board the yacht, located at Yas Island, was successfully overhauled to restore proper operational performance and ensure reliable directional control of the crane system. The valve assembly was dismantled, thoroughly inspected, cleaned, and reassembled with the necessary replacement components to eliminate internal wear and ensure smooth and reliable hydraulic operation.
In addition, two davit crane hydraulic cylinders were designed, fabricated, and refitted based on the original sample and system requirements. The newly fabricated cylinders were installed on the yacht at Yas Island and subjected to operational testing to verify structural integrity, proper sealing, and smooth extension and retraction under load conditions. Testing confirmed satisfactory performance, with no leakage or abnormal operation observed.
Furthermore, troubleshooting of the yacht’s hydraulic platform system was carried out at Yas Island to identify and rectify operational issues. Hydraulic components, connections, and control elements were systematically inspected, adjusted, and tested to ensure proper functionality. Upon completion of the corrective actions, the hydraulic platform system was successfully restored to normal working condition and verified to be operating safely and as intended.
