CCTV System Installation – Hamriyah Port
A comprehensive CCTV surveillance system has been successfully installed onboard a vessel at Hamriyah Port, delivering a major boost to safety, situational awareness, and operational monitoring. The installation covered all key zones of the vessel, including the bridge, outer deck areas, and internal machinery spaces, ensuring that every crucial angle is now supported with high-definition visual coverage.
The bridge cameras were positioned with precision to enhance visibility over navigation and control operations. Cable routing and equipment mounting were executed with a focus on long-term stability and professional finish, integrating seamlessly with the existing control infrastructure. These upgrades provide the crew with clear, reliable visual oversight from their primary monitoring station.
On the external decks, heavily weathered and corroded units were replaced with rugged, marine-grade cameras designed to withstand the harsh conditions of sun exposure, vibrations, and saltwater environments. The new installations now cover crane operations, mooring activities, and general deck movement with improved clarity and operational reliability, significantly elevating situational control in busy working zones.
Within the engine room, a compact camera was installed to provide continuous visibility over pump systems, pipelines, and crew activity. This enhances both safety monitoring and technical supervision, supporting more effective incident prevention and operational audits. Every camera was calibrated carefully, tested under varying light conditions, and synchronized through the NVR for seamless recording and playback.
With the system fully integrated and tested, the vessel now benefits from a unified and dependable surveillance network capable of supporting safer operations, better decision-making, and compliance with marine monitoring standards. The successful execution of this project reflects strong teamwork, technical precision, and a commitment to delivering quality solutions in challenging marine environments.
