Deck Crane Load Test & Hydraulic Inspection – Khor Fakkan Anchorage
A comprehensive load testing and operational inspection of a vessel deck crane was successfully carried out onboard a tanker vessel at Khor Fakkan Anchorage, United Arab Emirates.
As per client requirements, a complete hydraulic system inspection was conducted prior to the load test, covering
- Overall Crane Condition
- Hydraulic System Inspection
- Directional Control Valve (DCV)
- Hydraulic Swing Reducer Gearbox Motor
- Hydraulic Cylinders
- Wire Rope Condition
- Control Levers & Limit Switches
- Hydraulic Hoses & Connections
The onboard troubleshooting and operational checks confirmed that all crane components were functioning satisfactorily and safely.
The crane load test was then successfully performed in accordance with the approved Safe Working Load (SWL) capacity of 1.5 Tons, with the crane operating efficiently within required safety limits.
Upon successful completion, all relevant load test certificates and hydraulic inspection documentation were issued.
