Telescopic Boom Crane Wire Rope Renewal & Load Test

We are pleased to announce the successful completion of the inspection, wire rope replacement, load testing, and certification of a 2-Ton SWL Telescopic Boom Crane onboard a vessel at Damen Shipyards.

During the inspection, our team identified damage to the crane's existing wire rope. To ensure continued safe and reliable operation, an 85-meter galvanized wire rope was supplied and installed in accordance with marine industry standards and manufacturer requirements.

Following the replacement, the crane underwent a comprehensive load test and functional operational test. All crane functions were thoroughly evaluated and performed satisfactorily, confirming that the equipment was operating safely within its rated Safe Working Load (SWL) limits.

Upon the successful completion of all inspection and testing activities, the crane and wire rope were certified, and the necessary approval certificates were issued in compliance with applicable marine regulations and standards.
