VRCS & Windlass Hydraulics Troubleshooting – Egypt
At Egypt Anchorage, a focused troubleshooting operation was carried out on critical deck hydraulic systems to restore reliable vessel operations. Cargo Valve 12 was initially found to be unresponsive from the CCR, prompting a detailed inspection and testing process. Following precise adjustments, the valve was successfully reinstated and is now operating smoothly under normal conditions.
In parallel, the windlass experienced an anchor heave-up malfunction, which was carefully diagnosed and rectified through systematic troubleshooting. After the intervention, the windlass system was fully restored and is now functioning as intended, ensuring safe and dependable anchoring operations.
