How often must fire-fighting equipment be serviced?
Most equipment needs an annual inspection by an approved service provider, with further checks at two-, five- and ten-year intervals depending on the system, as set out in MSC.1/Circ.1432 and the flag's requirements.
Can you service fixed CO2 systems onboard?
Yes. We carry out CO2 system inspections, cylinder content measurement, hose and valve testing and 10-yearly hydrostatic testing, onboard or in our workshop.
